My personal fasting experience

Chrononutrition – eating in sync with your natural body rhythms – has done wonder on my overall health and wellness for years. That’s how I decided to research it further.

All my researches as a qualified nutritionist revolved around eating. Until I felt I was sometimes suffering from “Food hangover” even if I had eaten sensibly and synchronically. That’s when I started to contemplate the idea of fasting.

I don’t remember the first time I’ve heard about fasting precisely. But I do remember it was for a spiritual reason. And I do remember thinking it must be a form of punishment. Because, as you know, I enjoy food. Voluntarily giving up on food for an extended period of time to achieve some spiritual benefit seemed like an unfair deal.

It wasn’t until I began studying fasting from a health and wellness perspective that I discovered there was a lot of physiological wisdom in it. And it was not until I started practicing fasting that I experienced the mental and spiritual benefits.

I’ve finally done my first extended fast under the mentoring of a European experienced practitioner two years ago. This experience has confirmed what I’ve read. Fasting is a holistic approach to life. It is a life-changing experience, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

I’ve been fasting regularly since and introduced Time-Restricted feeding in my daily routine.

Now, I’m thrilled to experience and share the physical and mental zest fasting has on me. And I’m passionate about guiding people like you who are ready to live a new adventure.
